The director and staff of Little Lakers Child Care Center have an educational background and experience that meets or exceeds the Minnesota Department of Human Services licensing regulations. Each room is staffed with qualified teachers and trained assistants and aides. LLCCC provides a loving, caring environment.

Annika Morton
Director
I graduated from Purdue University with my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Administration in April of 2022. I have been working in early childcare for over 7 years and have spent the majority of that time with toddlers. I have two sisters, one of whom is 15 years younger than me and introduced me to how fun young kids can be!

Miranda Queener
Assistant Director
I come from a background of Head Start as a lead teacher. I graduated with my Family Services AAS degree in 2020 and also my Early Childhood Education Diploma in 2020. I am currently in school for my bachelors degree in Family Consumer Science with an emphasis on Child Development and will graduate in Spring of 2023. I have two daughters ages 2 and 5 and live here in Lake Crystal!

Chelsea Achenbach

I have worked with children for about ten years now! I've been a nanny and have worked in daycares. Throughout this time I've worked with all ages but mostly with infants. I look forward to getting to know and grow with the kids here at Little Lakers!

Alysa Thormodson
Assistant Mobile Infant Teacher
I have worked with children for about the last five years ranging from infants to young school age. My favorite teacher moment is watching kids learn something new and getting excited about it. Outside of work I enjoy traveling and being with friends!

My experience comes from over 2 years in child care plus a year of schooling in Early Childcare Education. I love drawing, painting, and creating things. I will try any craft and art medium possible (even if my cats are getting in the way of my work)!

I graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science Degree with an emphasis of Child Development and Family Studies. I have worked with children for about 5 years. Outside of work I like to hangout with friends, family, and travel. I'm excited to help the children learn and grow into amazing people!

I started working at Little Lakers in February and I love it! I enjoy working with toddlers, they are so much fun! I am a senior at LCWM and I enjoy hanging out with friends outside of work.

Infant-Toddler Teacher's Aide
I started working at Little Lakers in September. I've worked as a babysitter my whole life watching all my cousins and nephew. I graduated at Madelia High School in June of 2021. I have two older sisters who are 10 and 5 years older than me. I also love to eat smarties any time I can!

I have over ten years of experience in early childcare and grew up in an in home daycare! Growing up surrounded by young kiddos, it's always been my dream to help guide and take care of them. I have two cats and a dog who, in turn, take care of me at home!

Hi i'm Billie Jo. I love working with the preschools but enjoy all ages! I started babysitting at age twelve and have always loved being around kids. I have four daughters, provided home daycare services and was a foster parent for many years! I will provide a loving, caring environment for your child!

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and reading. I am looking forward to teaching, loving, and watching your chidden grow!

I am a senior at LCWM high school and plan to further my education and Minnesota State University, Mankato this Fall. I have been around kids since I was young and have been a nanny for the past 4 summers. I love working with kids! Outside of work I like to attend school sporting events, shop and eat ice cream!

My name is Nicolle Gardner, and I am a senior at Minnesota State University Mankato. My major is psychology with a focus in childhood development. In my free time I love to read, travel, and hang out with my cat at home.
