Board of Directors

Kim is the Vice President of Play & Learning at the Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota.   She was the Early Childhood Coordinator and Early Childhood Teacher at LCWM Schools for 19 years and still holds the role as Parent Educator for their ECFE program.  She has worked for various school districts , childcare programs, and served on multiple boards advocating for early childhood education.  

I am a stay at home mom.  I have three children and have lived in the community for fifteen years.  My education background is in Family Life and Child Development.  Prior to becoming a stay at home I was a lead infant teacher and then took on the role of director.  I believe a good, quality child care center is great for our community and excited to help our community achieve this.

I am a physical education teacher at LCWM Secondary School. My husband and I have lived in Lake Crystal for over 20 years. We have 2 boys. Childcare is vital for economic development so I have been part of the board of directors from the beginning.

I currently work for LCWM #2071 school district as the Payroll/Accounts Payable clerk.  My husband was born and raised in rural Madelia, we have two children just finishing up their college educations.  I was asked to join the Board in September 2022.  I have over 30 years of office management experience. I feel very fortunate we have such a great child care center in our local community.

I have been in Human Resources for over 8 years at Crystal Valley. My husband and I live in Lake Crystal with our two children, 4 and 7. I have been on the board since 2021 and I am passionate about ensuring Little Lakers has the proper business foundation to thrive for years to come.

I am kindergarten teacher at LCWM Schools and a postpartum doula. I have been involved in the center since it was just an idea floating around in my mind. I feel very strongly that quality child care should be available to everyone, which is why I am a board member. My husband and I have four children of our own and we live in Lake Crystal.
