I was raised in Lake Crystal and graduated from LCWM. My husband, Logan, and I are parents to our 3-year-old daughter, Hadley, and infant, Harper. Both girls have attended Little Lakers since they were babies, and we’re excited to continue our relationship with the facility.
I hold a Dietetic Degree from NDSU and have extensive leadership experience. I’m passionate about building strong teams and implementing strategies to achieve business goals. As a Board Director, I’m committed to supporting Little Lakers in providing exceptional care for children and families in our community.

Jennifer Weins
I grew up in the Lake Crystal Area and graduated from LCWM and Minnesota State University, Mankato with a degree in Finance, Management, and Accounting. My husband and I have lived in Lake Crystal for over 30 years, raising our family here alongside our daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter, and son, all of whom remain close by. I am currently a mortgage banker and mortgage department supervisor at Pioneer Bank. For many years, I have been passionate about supporting the growth and development of all children in our community, recognizing that they are our future. I also deeply respect the leaders who step forward each day to teach and inspire our children. As a board member, I aim to support initiatives that expand access to quality childcare and foster strong partnerships between families and educators. I look forward to contributing to the Little Lakers Child Care Center Board of Directors and helping make a positive impact on our community.

I am kindergarten teacher at LCWM Schools and a postpartum doula. I have been involved in the center since it was just an idea floating around in my mind. I feel very strongly that quality child care should be available to everyone, which is why I am a board member. My husband and I have four children of our own and we live in Lake Crystal.

Ann Smith
I have been in Human Resources for over 8 years at Crystal Valley. My husband and I live in Lake Crystal with our two children, 4 and 7. I have been on the board since 2021 and I am passionate about ensuring Little Lakers has the proper business foundation to thrive for years to come.

Andrew & Elizabeth Utter
Andrew and I have been part of the Lake Crystal community for the past 8 years. Our daughter has attended Little Lakers since she was 12 weeks old. Andrew brings a strong background in accounting and finance, while my background is in consumer affairs and accounting.
Together, we are excited to serve on the Board of Directors for Little Lakers and are committed to helping the center continue to grow and thrive. We want to ensure the center continues to provide a safe, caring environment for our children and future families.

I moved to Lake Crystal six years ago from Mankato. My wife and I both grew up in rural communities and value giving back to places like Lake Crystal, where community connection and service matter. I work at Minnesota State University, Mankato as the Student Success Coordinator and Conduct Officer in the Dean of Students Office, and I volunteer as an EMT with the Lake Crystal Ambulance Service. We have one son who attends MSU, and my wife serves as a Human Services Supervisor for Blue Earth County.
